How to Change Your Microphone Settings for Supanote?

Fix audio issues and make sure Supanote can hear your sessions clearly

Updated over 4 months ago

If Supanote isn’t picking up your voice during in-person or telehealth sessions in Chrome, it’s usually a microphone setting issue.

Follow the steps below to make sure Supanote is using the correct mic on your device:

1. Open Supanote

Go to Supanote.ai and log in

2. Click the Preferences Icon in the URL Bar

Click the Preferences icon next to the URL (gear or “Site settings” icon)

3. Access Microphone Settings

  • In the dropdown, find Microphone

  • Click the arrow > to expand options

4. Manage microphone devices

At the bottom, click Manage to open your system’s microphone settings

5. Select the Correct Microphone

  • Choose your preferred input device (built-in mic, USB mic, headset)

  • Make sure it’s set as the default and not blocked

6. Refresh the Page and Test the Microphone

  • Return to Supanote, refresh the page

  • Start a session to confirm audio capture

If it’s still not working

  • Try a different microphone from the list

  • Restart Chrome and test again
