How long does it take to set up Supanote?

Getting started with Supanote takes less than a minute. Just, sign up with your email -no credit card required- and start creating your first note right away.

Is Supanote available for both in-person and virtual sessions?

Yes, Supanote supports both in-person and telehealth sessions. You can record live, use real-time dictation, or upload audio files, making it flexible for any setting.

How long does it take for Supanote to generate a note?

It typically takes under 2 minutes to generate a complete note for a standard session, depending on the recording length and clarity.

Can Supanote be used on mobile devices?

Yes, Supanote is accessible via any modern web browser on desktop or mobile. You can record, edit, and review notes from anywhere - no app download needed.

Can Supanote be used as an app?

Here is how to add supanote as an app:

For Android Users:

  1. Open your browser

  2. Access Menu

    • Tap the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of Chrome.

  3. Add to Home Screen

    • From the menu, select “Add to Home screen.”

  4. Confirm Install

    • Follow the prompt that says “Install app.” Tap "Install" to confirm.

  5. Done!

    • Supanote will now appear on your home screen as an app icon.

    • Tap the icon to launch and use it like a regular app.

For iphone users:

  1. Open Safari

    • Navigate to supanote.ai with Safari (not Chrome) on your iPhone.

  2. Tap the Share Icon

    • At the bottom of the screen, tap the square with the upward arrow.

  3. Add to Home Screen

    • Scroll through the options and tap “Add to Home Screen.”

  4. Name the App (Optional)

    • You can rename it (e.g., “Supanote”) or keep the default.

  5. Add

    • Tap “Add.” Supanote will appear as an app icon on your home screen for easy access.

What notes templates does Supanote support?

Supanote supports a wide range of note formats, including SOAP, DAP, GIRP, BIRP, PIE, EMDR, Intake, and Treatment Plan. You can switch between formats with one click - or choose your default for consistent documentation.
Additionally, Supanote also allows you to create your own personalized templates.

Does Supanote support customized templates?

Yes, Supanote supports customized templates. You can customize the note templates to meet your specific documentation needs. You can also create customized templates for your notes.

Can I customise the terminology used in my notes?

Yes! With our SupaAI feature, you can describe the kind of changes or tone you’d like, and Supanote will tailor your note accordingly - including clinical language, session focus, and phrasing that matches your style.

How to review and edit notes created by Supanote?

Once a note is generated, you can open it from your dashboard, edit it manually, or use SupaAI to rephrase, expand, or adjust content instantly. You can also change the note type, client name, or language before finalizing.

Is Supanote integrated with other EHRs?

At the moment, Supanote offers one-click Copy and PDF Download options, so you can paste notes into any EMR/EHR easily. However, we are planning integration options for the future.


Privacy

How does Supanote ensure privacy and security?

Supanote is fully HIPAA-compliant. All session data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. You’re always in control - you can delete transcripts or notes at any time, and no data is used to train our models. Learn more in our Privacy Policy.

Will Supanote store my client recordings?

Recordings are stored temporarily in a secure, HIPAA-compliant manner to generate your note. You can delete them manually at any time from your dashboard. You can also download the BAA from your account settings menu in the top-right corner of the platform.

How long does Supanote keep the notes?

Supanote does not store or record session audio.
Your audio (whether from a live session or uploaded recording) is used only to generate the note and is automatically deleted after processing. We prioritize your and your client’s privacy, always.

Does Supanote sign a BAA with its customers?

Yes! Supanote includes a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) automatically when you sign up - no additional request needed.

How to introduce Supanote to patients/clients?

To help you explain Supanote to your clients, we’ve created a pre-written consent form that outlines:

Yes! You can download a Supanote-compatible consent form from your account settings menu in the top-right corner of the platform.


Pricing & Subscription

Does Supanote have a free trial?

Yes! Supanote offers a 7 day free trial when you sign up- no credit card required. You can try out all features and note formats before committing to a paid plan.

What are the pricing options for Supanote?

Supanote offers three flexible plans:

  1. Starter – $19.99/month for 40 notes/month

  2. Pro – $39.99/month for 120 notes/month

  3. XL Plan – $69.99/month for unlimited notes

All plans include access to Smart Dictate, SupaAI editing, multiple note formats (SOAP, DAP, EMDR, etc.) so you can document confidently, no matter your caseload.

How do I cancel my existing subscription with Supanote?

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

  2. Select “Manage Subscription” from the dropdown menu.

  3. You’ll be taken to the Subscription tab in Settings.

  4. Click the “Cancel Subscription” button under your current plan.

Your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing cycle. You can resubscribe or change your plan anytime.

What happens, if I upgrade my existing subscription with Supanote?

When you upgrade your subscription, the new plan takes effect immediately. Your note limit is increased based on the selected tier (e.g., 120 or unlimited notes/month), and you'll be charged a prorated amount based on the remaining days in your current billing cycle. Your usage and saved notes remain unaffected.

What happens, if I upgrade my existing subscription with Supanote?

When you upgrade your plan, the change is applied instantly. You'll get immediate access to the higher note limit and additional features included in the new plan. A prorated charge will be applied based on the days left in your current billing cycle, so you only pay for the upgrade difference. All your existing notes and settings stay exactly as they are.
