Many therapists prefer to inform clients that a secure assistant will help with documentation. We provide a ready-to-use consent form you can customize.
1. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.
2. Select “Client Consent Form” from the dropdown menu.
Post this, the form will automatically download to your device as a PDF. You can then print, email, or digitally share it with clients as needed.
Suggested script (use in session or intake)
“To give you my full attention during our time together, I use a secure digital assistant that helps me create clinical notes after our session. It doesn’t change our work together, and your privacy remains fully protected under HIPAA. Is it okay if I use it for our sessions?”
Good to know
Supanote does not store audio; it’s processed to generate your note and then deleted
Notes stay in your account until you delete or set auto-delete
You can store signed consents in your EHR as usual
