Patient/ Client Consent form

Help your clients understand how Supanote works- and get their consent before using it

Updated over 4 months ago

Why Consent Matters

Supanote recommends (and some jurisdictions may require) obtaining patient or client consent before recording sessions. This protects both you and your clients, and builds trust by keeping everything transparent.

Suggested Script to Use with Clients

“To help me stay fully present with you during sessions and offer the best possible care, I use a secure AI tool called Supanote that generates clinical notes for me. This removes the need for manual note-taking and helps our session flow without distractions.”

Privacy & Data Protection

Supanote is built with privacy and compliance in mind.
Here’s how your session data is protected:

  • No audio is stored: Sessions are transcribed in real time and then deleted.

  • HIPAA-Compliant: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

  • You stay in control: You can delete notes anytime, or set them to auto-delete after 30 days.

Supanote never stores full audio recordings, and no one listens to your sessions.
