If you've already generated a note but want to change the template (for example, from SOAP to DAP, or to one of your own custom templates), here's how you can do it:
1. Click on 'View Note'
From your dashboard, click View Note to open the editor
2. Select a new template
In the left-hand panel under Note Preferences, open the Template dropdown
Choose from Supanote’s built-in templates (SOAP, DAP, BIRP, EMDR) or your own custom template.
3. Your note will automatically update
Once you choose a new template, your note will reflow to match the selected structure.
The content remains intact but reorganized according to the new format.
Note: Some template changes may cause sections to shift or reformat. It’s always a good idea to double-check the note before finalizing.
