Managing your Supanote subscription should feel clear and stress-free. Whether you’re upgrading to get more notes, downgrading to a lighter plan, or canceling altogether, you stay in full control. All your notes and data remain safe no matter which plan you choose.

Change, Cancel, or Upgrade Your Subscription

You can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade your plan anytime directly from your dashboard.

Here’s how it works:

1. How to Cancel Your Subscription

  1. Click your profile icon (top right).

  2. Select Manage Subscription.

  3. In the Subscription tab, click Cancel Subscription under your current plan.

Your plan stays active until the end of your billing cycle. You won’t be charged again after that, and you can always resubscribe later.

💡 Supanote's reassurance: All your existing notes remain saved and accessible even after cancellation.

2. Upgrading Your Plan

If you upgrade your plan:

  • Immediate access - The change takes effect right away.

  • More notes instantly - Your new monthly note quota is available as soon as you upgrade (e.g., from 40 → 120 or unlimited).

  • Prorated billing -You’re charged only the difference for the rest of your billing cycle, not the full new amount.

  • No disruption - All saved notes and history remain intact.

Example: If you’re halfway through your Starter plan ($19.99/month) and upgrade to Pro ($39.99/month), you’ll only be charged the difference for the remaining days of your current cycle.

3. Downgrading Your Plan

If you downgrade your plan:

  1. Takes effect at next cycle - The downgrade starts at the beginning of your next billing period (monthly or yearly).

  2. Notes stay safe - All previously generated notes remain accessible; nothing is deleted.

  3. Usage resets - Your note limit updates according to your new plan.

Example: Downgrading from Pro (120 notes/month) to Starter (40 notes/month) means your quota resets to 40 at the start of the next cycle. If you’ve already exceeded the new limit, you won’t be able to generate new notes until your quota resets - unless you upgrade again.

4. Will I Lose My Notes if I Upgrade/Downgrade?

No. Every note you’ve created in Supanote stays safe and accessible regardless of your plan changes.

💡 Tip: If you want unlimited documentation freedom without thinking about quotas, the Unlimited plan might be the right fit.


5. Updating Payment Details

Need to update your card?

  1. Log in and click your profile icon.

  2. Select Manage Subscription → Update Card.

  3. Enter your new payment details and click Save.


6. Downloading Invoices & Receipts

  1. Go to Manage Subscription.Scroll down to Payment History.

  2. Click Download Invoice for any month.

💡 Tip: Your invoices automatically include your practice name (from your profile). Update your profile if you want to change how it appears on receipts.


7. Group & Team Accounts

If you’re managing a group practice:

  • Go to Manage Team from your profile menu.

  • Click Invite Member → enter their email.

  • To remove a member, click Remove User next to their name.

Admins can also share templates across the team so everyone’s notes stay consistent.
