How to set my personal preferences on Supanote?

Customize how your notes are written - automatically!

Updated over 3 months ago

Supanote allows you to set personal preferences so that every note you generate reflects your desired clinical style and terminology.

Whether you want your notes to always refer to clients as “Pt” or refer to yourself as “clinician” instead of “therapist”- Supanote can remember that for you.

Here's how to do it:

1. Click on Settings

  • From your dashboard, click your profile icon (top right)

  • Select Settings from the dropdown

2. Click on “Note Preferences”

In the left-hand sidebar, click Note Preferences under Personal Settings

3. Customize terminology and style

  • Enter how the note should refer to the client/patient (e.g., “Pt”)

  • Enter how the note should refer to you (e.g., “clinician,” “LMFT,” “provider”)

  • Add any other preferred phrases or tone adjustments

4. Save Your Preferences

  • Click Save

  • Your preferences apply to all new notes automatically

Pro tip: Try and combine your preferences with Supa AI to instantly adapt new notes to your style.
